I hope to bring a personal point of view to music used in Jewish settings. Hearing what others do with this challenge will prove to be the best learning experience.
Classically trained and five-time Emmy award-winning composer Steven Bernstein is equally at home on the concert stage or the recording studio. He has received numerous commissions for pieces ranging from solo and chamber music to large-scale choral/orchestral works. He has also composed, orchestrated and conducted music for motion pictures and television, most notably for animated series and features. Active in performance as well, he has sung with the Colorado Chorale, the Pasadena Chamber Orchestra chorus as well as in numerous television productions. He is a member of "The Joynt", a comedy improv troupe, and can be seen on-screen (if you don't blink) as "The conductor" in the Wayans-produced film "Dance Flick".
